General Terms and Conditions of Sale

The present conditions of sale are concluded on the one hand by the company SAUJET Laure, France, Carole whose head office is located at 105 bis avenue Alsace Lorraine, Noisy-Le-Sec, registered in the Trade and Companies Register of Bobigny under the number 844 952 010 hereinafter referred to as “Comme un diadème” and managing the website www.commeundiademe.com and, on the other hand, by any individual or legal entity wishing to make a purchase via the website www.commeundiademe.com hereinafter referred to as "the buyer".

Article 1. Subject 

The present conditions of sale aim to define the contractual relations between Comme un diadème and the buyer and the conditions applicable to any purchase made through the website www.commeundiademe.com. The acquisition of a product through the present site implies the buyer's unreserved acceptance of the present terms and conditions of sale, which the buyer acknowledges having read prior to placing an order. Before any transaction, the buyer declares on the one hand that the purchase of products on the site www.commeundiademe.com is not directly related to his professional activity and is limited to strictly personal use and, on the other hand, that he has full legal capacity, allowing him to commit himself under these general conditions of sale.

Article 3. Prices 

The prices appearing on the product sheets of the internet catalog are prices in Euros (€) excluding taxes (HT). The company Comme un diadème reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, it being however understood that the price appearing in the catalog on the day of the order will be the only one applicable to the buyer. The prices indicated do not include delivery charges, which are invoiced in addition to the price of the products purchased according to the total amount of the order. In metropolitan France, a flat-rate contribution to shipping costs will be invoiced to the buyer in the amount of 6.35 euros including all taxes (shipment by Colissimo with tracking and drop-off in a letter box or against signature). For delivery to other European countries (including Switzerland) and the French overseas departments and territories, a fixed amount of €10 including all taxes will be charged to the buyer (shipping by Colissimo with tracking and delivery to a mailbox or against signature). In the rest of the world, a flat-rate contribution of $15 including all taxes to shipping costs will be charged to the buyer (shipment by Colissimo with tracking and drop-off in a letter box or against signature).

Article 4. Order and payment terms 

Before placing an order, the buyer must create an account on the website www.commeundiademe.com. The account creation section is accessible directly from the side menu bar. At each visit, the buyer, if he wishes to order or consult his account (order status, profile, etc.), will have to identify himself using his information and personal identifiers. Comme un diadème does not assume any responsibility for the use of personal identifiers by a third party.

The company Comme un diadème offers buyers the option to order and pay for their products in several steps, with two payment options to choose from:

Secure payment by PayPal or credit card:the buyer selects the products they wish to order from the "Cart," modifies it if necessary (quantities, references, etc.), checks the delivery address or enters a new one. Then, the shipping costs are calculated and submitted to the buyer, as well as the name of the carrier (Colissimo). Then, the buyer chooses the payment method of their choice: "Payment by PayPal" or Credit Card. The next step is to check all the information, read and accept the present general terms and conditions of sale by ticking the corresponding box, then invites them to confirm their order by clicking on the "Confirm my order" button. Finally, the buyer is redirected to the secure interface in order to securely enter their Paypal account or personal credit card details. If the payment is accepted, the order is registered and the contract is definitively formed. Payment by Paypal account or credit card is irrevocable. In case of fraudulent use of the card, the buyer may demand the cancellation of the payment by card, the sums paid will then be recredited or refunded. The cardholder is not liable if the disputed payment has been proven to have been made fraudulently, remotely, without physical use of his card. In order to obtain reimbursement of the fraudulent debit and any bank charges that may have been incurred, the cardholder must contest the debit in writing to his/her bank within 70 days of the transaction, or 120 days if the contract between the cardholder and the bank so provides. The amounts debited shall be reimbursed by the Bank within a maximum period of one month after receipt of the written objection made by the bearer. Confirmation of an order implies acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale, acknowledgment of having full knowledge of them, and waiver of the right to invoke one's own terms and conditions of purchase. If the buyer has an email address and has provided it on the order form, Comme un diadème will send confirmation of the order registration by email.

Article 5. Retention of title 

The company Comme un diadème retains full and complete ownership of the products sold until full payment of the price, in principal, fees, and taxes included.

Article 6. Withdrawal 

Pursuant to Article L121-20 of the French Consumer Code, the buyer has a period of fourteen working days from the delivery of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal and thus return the product to the seller for exchange or refund without penalty, except for the cost of return by Colissimo. The topper must be returned in the same condition it was sent. The exchange or refund will only be made if the product has not been washed, curled, cut, heat-styled, dyed, or damaged. Each item will be inspected before the refund is given.

Article 7. Delivery 

Deliveries are made to the address indicated on the order form, which can only be in the agreed geographical area. Orders are made by La Poste via COLISSIMO, a delivery service with tracking and delivery in a letterbox or in person against signature. Delivery times are only given as an indication; if they exceed thirty days from the order, the contract of sale may be terminated and the buyer reimbursed. The company Comme un diadème will be able to provide the buyer with the tracking number for their package by email. The buyer will receive their delivery at home from their postman. In case of absence of the buyer, he will receive a notice of passage from his postman, which allows him to withdraw the products ordered at the nearest post office, during a period indicated by the postal services. Transport risks are borne by the purchaser from the moment the items leave the company's premises as a diadem. The buyer is required to check, in the presence of the postman or delivery person, the condition of the packaging of the goods and its contents upon delivery. In case of damage during transport, any protest must be made to the carrier within three days of delivery. For deliveries outside metropolitan France, the buyer undertakes to pay all taxes due under the laws of the country where the order is received.

Article 8. Warranty 

All products supplied by the company Comme un diadème benefit from the legal guarantee provided by articles 1641 and following of the Civil Code. In case of non-conformity of a product sold, it can be returned to the company Comme un diadème which will take it back, exchange it or refund it. Article 9. Responsibility 

The company Comme un diadème, in the process of distance selling, is bound only by an obligation of means. Its responsibility cannot be engaged for any damage resulting from the use of the Internet network such as loss of data, intrusion, virus, service interruption, or other involuntary problems.

We use natural Brazilian "Remy" hair. The term "Remy" means that the hair and the cuticles of the strand are oriented in the same direction on the hair topper. This is in contrast to non-Rémy hair, which is assembled loosely. They are therefore more prone to tangling and damage.

You should choose the Cap size of the topper according to the extent of your alopecia and the density of hair you wish to acquire. It is preferable that the clips are not attached in the area of alopecia where the scalp can be quite sensitive. In addition, extensive alopecia will require the addition of a high density of hair to compensate for the initial low density.

For extensive alopecia, we recommend bases measuring 18 × 18 cm or 20 × 20 cm. These bases will provide effective coverage, density, and comfort. Larger bases are available for very extensive alopecia.

Smaller bases (15×15 cm) will give your hair a little less density. But they will make it easier to tie your hair up in a high ponytail.

We offer hair toppers with a density between 120 and 130%. This density is considered standard by international retailers.

The hair is straight. Except when it is indicated in the product description and title that the model is naturally wavy or curly.

The life span of a topper will partly depend on how well it is cared for. The typical life span is between one and two years. To increase the life of your topper, you should not wash it too frequently.

The topper should be brushed out carefully after wearing. It is convenient to place it on a wig head. This way, the hair does not get a bad fold before the next use.

Hair should not be washed too frequently. Every 4 weeks or more is a good frequency. Close the clips before washing the hair and detangle the hair before and after washing. You can use a mild shampoo for colored hair followed by conditioner. Orchid Oil shampoo and Brazilian Keratin conditioner have proven to be effective!

Every four shampoos, you can apply Silicon Mix, available on Amazon. This will restore your hair's original shine.

If you have dry ends, we recommend adding a little argan oil to moisturize the hair fiber.

Natural hair can be heated, straightened, and curled without any problems. However, as with your own hair, you should not overdo it so as not to damage the hair fiber.

Hair hair topper has usually undergone complex bleaching and colouring processes before achieving its final colour. This hair has therefore been sensitised. It may react in an unexpected way to a colouring or bleaching process. It is usually possible to darken a hair topper. However, it is not recommended to bleach it as this may alter the hair. Therefore, when in doubt between two shades as to which hair colour to choose, it is best to choose the lighter shade of hair. In any case, it is important to have the hair topper coloured or bleached by a professional colourist who is used to working with this type of hair. Hair toppers Comme un diadème are sold uncut. Therefore, at first try, the hair topper may not seem to fit your face and/or hairstyle. However, a rough piece needs to be made to fit you completely. We therefore recommend that, if the basic colour, length and size are suitable for you, you have the hair topper cut by a hairdresser so that it can blend in completely naturally with your own hair.

At Comme un diadème, custom orders for out-of-stock products are possible.
