General Terms and Conditions of Sale

The present conditions of sale are concluded on the one hand by the company Comme un diadème, S.A.S. whose head office is located at 49 avenue Charles de Gaulle, 30470 Aimargues, registered in the Nîmes Trade and Companies Register under number 888 366 747 hereafter referred to as "Comme un diadème" and managing the website www.commeundiademe.com and, on the other hand, by any individual or legal entity wishing to proceed with a purchase via the website www.commeundiademe.com hereafter referred to as "the buyer".

Article 1. Purpose

The present conditions of sale aim to define the contractual relationship between Comme un diadème and the buyer and the conditions applicable to any purchase made through the website www.commeundiademe.com. The acquisition of a product through this website implies unreserved acceptance by the buyer of these conditions of sale which the buyer acknowledges having read prior to ordering. Before any transaction, the buyer declares on the one hand that the purchase of products on the website www.commeundiademe.com is not directly related to his professional activity and is limited to a strictly personal use and on the other hand to have the full legal capacity, allowing him to commit himself under the present general conditions of sale.

Comme un diadème reserves the right to modify these conditions of sale at any time, in order to comply with any new regulations or in order to improve the use of its website. Therefore, the applicable conditions will be those in force at the date of the order by the buyer.

Article 2. Products

The products offered are those that appear on the www.commeundiademe.com website of the company Comme un diadème, within the limits of available stocks. The company Comme un diadème reserves the right to modify the product range at any time. Each product is presented on the website in the form of a description of its main technical characteristics (hair type, length, size and type of base, density). The photographs are as accurate as possible but are not binding on the seller. The sale of the products presented on the www.commeundiademe.com website is intended for all buyers residing in countries that fully authorise the entry of these products into their territory.

Article 3. Tariffs

The prices appearing on the product sheets of the internet catalogue are prices in Euros (€) excluding taxes (HT). Comme un diadème reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, it being understood, however, that the price appearing in the catalogue on the day of the order will be the only one applicable to the buyer. The prices indicated do not include delivery costs, which are invoiced in addition to the price of the products purchased according to the total amount of the order. Outside the European Union and in French overseas departments and territories, the price is invoiced exclusive of VAT. The European VAT does not apply and it is therefore the customer's responsibility to find out about and pay any other taxes in force in the place of destination (customs duties, sea taxes, etc.) according to the DAP Incoterm (Delivered at place) . In metropolitan France, shipping costs will be charged to the buyer in the amount of 9.90 euros (including VAT) (shipping by DHL) for hair supplements. In other countries, the shipping costs by DHL are calculated at the time of the order. The other products (Hairbun and Sensitive grip) are sent by Colissimo (free shipping) only in Europe.

Article 4. Order and payment terms

Before placing an order, the buyer must create an account on the website www.commeundiademe.com. The account creation section is accessible directly from the side menu bar. At each visit, the buyer, if he wishes to order or consult his account (status of orders, profile, etc.), will have to identify himself using his personal information and identifiers. Comme un diadème assumes no responsibility for the use of personal identifiers by a third party.

Comme un diadème offers the buyer the possibility of ordering and paying for its products in several stages, with 3 payment options to choose from:

Secure payment by credit card: the buyer selects the products he wishes to order in the "Cart", modifies it if necessary (quantities, references...), checks the delivery address or enters a new one. Then, the shipping costs are calculated and submitted to the buyer, as well as the name of the carrier (DHL). Then, the buyer chooses the credit card payment method. The next step is to check all the information, read and accept the present general terms and conditions of sale by ticking the corresponding box, and then confirm the order by clicking on the "Confirm my order" button. Finally, the buyer is redirected to the secure interface in order to enter his personal credit card details in complete security. If the payment is accepted, the order is recorded and the contract is definitively formed. Payment by credit card is irrevocable. In the event of fraudulent use of the card, the buyer may demand the cancellation of the payment by card, and the sums paid will then be credited back or refunded. The responsibility of the bank card holder is not engaged if the disputed payment has been proven to have been made fraudulently, at a distance, without physical use of the card. To obtain reimbursement of the fraudulent debit and any bank charges that the transaction may have generated, the cardholder must dispute the debit in writing with his or her bank within 70 days of the transaction, or even 120 days if the contract linking him or her to the bank so provides. The amounts debited will be reimbursed by the bank within a maximum of one month after receipt of the cardholder's written objection. The holder shall not be charged any costs for the return of the sums.

The buyer can also pay by bank transfer on the RIB of the company Comme un diadème, which will be communicated by email, or via Paypal.

Payment in instalments is possible by credit card via PayLater (payment in 3 or 4 instalments, via Oney) and Paypal (payment in 4 instalments without charge).

Confirmation of an order implies acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale, acknowledgement of having full knowledge of them and waiver of the right to invoke its own terms and conditions of purchase. All the data provided and the recorded confirmation will be considered as proof of the transaction. If the buyer has an e-mail address and if he or she has provided it on the order form, Comme un diadème will send him or her an e-mail confirming that the order has been registered.

If the buyer wishes to contact Comme un diadème, he/she can do so either by post at the following address Comme un diadème S.A.S., 49 avenue Charles de Gaulle, 30470 Aimargues; or by email at the following address: [email protected]

Article 5. Reservation of ownership

The company Comme un diadème retains full ownership of the products sold until full payment of the price, in principal, costs and taxes included.

Article 6. Withdrawal

In accordance with article L121-20 of the Consumer Code, in the European Union, the buyer has a period of fourteen working days from the delivery of his order to exercise his right of withdrawal and thus return the product to the seller for exchange or reimbursement without penalty, with the exception of the cost of returning the product by Colissimo with delivery against signature or any other delivery system. This return policy also applies to Switzerland. The request for withdrawal must be sent only to the address [email protected] or via the return form on the website. Requests for cancellation should not be sent via private messages on social networks (Facebook or Instagram). The product must then be returned in the same condition in which it was sent, in its original packaging. Refunds will only be given if the product has not been washed, curled, cut, dishevelled or damaged. The parting of the product must be positioned in the centre. The product will be carefully inspected before refund. The lace part of the wigs must not have been cut. In case the product requires a new shampoo (application of serum or other on the hair), a penalty of 30 euros will be applied to the refund. If the product is returned with a clip cut or torn off, a penalty of 30 euros per clip will be applied.

In case of return of a product sent outside the European Union and Switzerland, a deduction of 10% will be made to the amount of the refund for management costs and restocking. However, for a first exchange, a credit note for the amount of the product can be used to buy another product on the website. This credit note is only valid for one exchange. If the product is returned again, the 10% deduction will be applied. The credit note is valid for an unlimited period of time. In case of a return of a product, the shipping costs are not refundable on the first product purchased, and must be paid again to receive the exchanged product. Credit card fees and other charges (e.g. customs fees) are not refundable either. In the case of a return of a product sent outside the EU, the customer must ensure that the return formalities do not entail any customs clearance costs for the seller, as this is not an import but a return of the product. You must declare "Return of the product to the retailer (Comme un diadème)". In the event of a customer error, customs clearance fees will be deducted from the refund.

Custom orders are payable in advance and are non-refundable. Production times can be long, especially during the covid period (about 4 to 6 months, sometimes a little longer). Exceeding the time limit for the receipt of the product will not be a reason for refund due to the current exceptional situation.

Products cut specifically at the request of the customer at the time of ordering (fringe, curtain bangs or Tiara haircut) via the form "available options", are not eligible for the return policy.

The return of a product that is not eligible for the return policy (custom order, product cut on demand) will be reshipped at the customer's expense.

In certain cases and on specific request of the customer, a refreshment of the initial colour of the hair topper can be made against payment of the service. As the service is carried out remotely, the colour achieved and the old hair topper cannot be reimbursed in the event of dissatisfaction.

Tickets for Like a Tiara events are neither exchangeable nor refundable. The price of the ticket is deductible from the purchase of a hair topper or wig on the day of the event.

Article 7. Delivery

Deliveries are made to the address indicated on the order form, which can only be within the agreed geographical area. Orders are placed by DHL. Delivery times are given as an indication only; if they exceed thirty days from the order, the sales contract may be terminated and the buyer reimbursed. Comme un diadème may provide the buyer with the tracking number of his parcel by e-mail. The buyer is delivered to his home by the DHL delivery man, or in a DHL relay point. The risks associated with transport are the responsibility of the buyer from the moment the items leave the premises of the company Comme un diadème. The buyer is obliged to check the condition of the packaging and the contents of the goods in the presence of the delivery person. In case of damage during transport, any protest must be made to the carrier within three days of delivery. For deliveries outside mainland France, the buyer undertakes to pay all taxes due under the laws of the country where the order is received.

Article 8. Guarantee

All products supplied by the company Comme un diadème benefit from the legal guarantee provided by articles 1641 and following of the Civil Code. In case of non-conformity of a product sold, it can be returned to the company Comme un diadème which will take it back, exchange it or refund it. All claims, requests for exchange or refund must be made by post to the following address Comme un diadème S.A.S., 49 avenue Charles de Gaulle, 30470 Aimargues, within fourteen days of delivery.

We use natural Brazilian "Remy" hair. The term "Remy" means that the hair and the cuticles of the strand are oriented in the same direction on the hair topper. This is in contrast to non-Rémy hair, which is assembled loosely. They are therefore more prone to tangling and damage.

You should choose the cap size of the topper according to the extent of your alopecia and the density of hair you wish to acquire. It is preferable that the clips are not attached in the area of alopecia where the scalp can be quite sensitive. In addition, extensive alopecia will require the addition of a high density of hair to compensate for the initial low density.

For extensive alopecia, we recommend 18 × 18 cm or 20×20 cm bases. These bases will provide real coverage, density and comfort of use. Larger base sizes are available for very large alopecia.

The smaller bases (15×15 cm) will give a little less density to the hair. But they will allow you to tie your hair in a high ponytail more easily.

To determine your wig size, please refer to the table below.

wig size chart

We offer hair toppers with a density between 120 and 130%. This density is considered standard by international retailers.

The hair is straight. Except where it is stated in the product title and description that the model is naturally wavy or curly.

The life span of a topper will partly depend on how well it is cared for. The typical life span is between one and two years. To increase the life of your topper, you should not wash it too frequently.

The topper should be brushed out carefully after wearing. It is convenient to place it on a wig head. This way, the hair does not get a bad fold before the next use.

Hair should not be washed too frequently. Every 4 weeks or more is a good rhythm. Clips should be closed before washing the hair and the hair should be detangled before and after washing. You can use a mild shampoo for coloured hair followed by a conditioner. Orchid oil shampoo and Brazilian keratin conditioner have proven to be very effective!

Every 4 shampoos you can apply Silicon Mix, available on Amazon. This will restore your hair to its original shine.

In case of dry ends, we recommend adding a little argan oil to moisturise the hair fibre.

Natural hair can be heated, straightened and curled without any problem. However, as with your own hair, it should not be overdone so as not to damage the hair fibre.

The cork wig head and its display stand are essential for easy drying and styling of the hair topper's hair. https://amzn.to/2tg50cJ The T-pin will allow you to attach the hair topper to the cork wig head before blow drying or curling the hair. https://amzn.to/2uW5W6q
Hair topper hair has usually undergone complex bleaching and colouring processes before achieving its final colour. This hair has therefore been sensitised. It may react in an unexpected way to a colouring or bleaching process. It is usually possible to darken a hair topper. However, it is not recommended to bleach it as this may alter the hair. Therefore, when in doubt between two shades as to which hair colour to choose, it is best to choose the lighter shade of hair. In any case, it is important to have the hair topper coloured or bleached by a professional colourist who is used to working with this type of hair. Hair toppers like a tiara are sold uncut. Therefore, at first try, the hair topper may not seem to fit your face and/or hairstyle. However, a rough piece needs to be made to fit you completely. We therefore recommend that, if the basic colour, length and size are suitable for you, you have the hair topper cut by a hairdresser so that it can blend in completely naturally with your own hair.
