I’ve now been wearing a Comme un diadème hair topper for a year, every day (or almost).
When I received it, it felt as if a genie had just granted my greatest wish: to finally have the hair of my dreams!
To make it feel more like my own, I quickly took it to my hairstylist (yes, I have alopecia and I still love going to the salon ^^). She helped me position it and trimmed it slightly so it would fit me perfectly. Even then, she was very impressed by the quality and beauty of the product.
Throughout the year, I kept getting compliments on my hair (and it feels so good!). Since then, I’ve felt better in my mind and body, and in my everyday life. I no longer spend hours trying to cover up the problem. I can honestly say I feel free from my biggest insecurity!
I recently went back to my hairstylist to color the hair topper (only because my own hair had grown quite a bit and there was a visible line. Since I was treating myself, I went for everything I’d dreamed of: a beautiful ombré and a length I’d never been able to have).

I’m 66 and have had androgenetic alopecia for about 40 years. At 37, I had hair implants, but they didn’t make much difference for diffuse alopecia.
I took Androcur for 10 years, then stopped because of the possibility that taking this medication could lead to a meningioma. I often take dietary supplements for hair loss, but the effect is mostly psychological—they reassure me.
