Comme un diadème does not have a physical store or commercial premises. It is an e-commerce site.
However, Laure can offer private consultation sessions lasting 1.5 to 2 hours at her home in Vergèze (these consultations cost 100 euros). During a consultation, you will have the opportunity to receive personal advice on the most suitable model for you. And try all the models in stock on the site that interest you. Laure will be there to answer all your questions.
We can also advise you completely free of charge remotely if you send photos of your hair in daylight. We can communicate via voice messages on WhatsApp if that’s more convenient for you (+33 6 95 28 78 85). We can also provide advice upon receipt if you feel it is necessary. Many women purchase their first hair topper from Comme un diadème entirely remotely, and it goes very well.

We guide you in choosing the model that would suit you best in terms of prosthesis, color, length, and base size, taking into account your needs and desires. Exchanges are made via email (contact@commeundiademe.com) or WhatsApp (+33 6 95 28 78 85), with photos of your hair taken in daylight. We communicate through messages, voice notes, or even video calls to answer all your questions and reassure you.
You can also send a hair strand for direct comparison of your strands to the different references from Comme un diadème before making your choice before ordering.
After the purchase
Every woman benefits from personalized support even after purchase. Upon receiving your model, if you feel the need, we are here to advise you and help you place it correctly based on your photos and videos.

This choice is intentional. We have chosen to work independently to freely select our raw materials and offer high-end, customizable hair toppers and wigs designed with a very high aesthetic requirement.
Approval involves an administrative framework and specific standards that significantly restrict the possibilities for creation and sourcing.

Yes, the models of hair toppers and wigs from Comme un diadème are delivered internationally by DHL.
Orders are delivered within a maximum of 10 working days.
Hair toppers and wigs are delivered by DHL, with hand delivery. The DHL pickup point may be offered to the customer after the package is collected by the DHL service. Accessories (hairbuns, hangers, and sensitive grips) are delivered by post.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer. Upon receipt, the returned model in good condition is refunded without penalty.
You have 14 days after receiving your order in the EU to express your withdrawal (10 days outside the EU).
Withdrawals must be expressed by email or via the return form of Comme un diadème and not through social media or WhatsApp. After registering your withdrawal, you have a period of 14 days to return the package.
Upon receipt of the package at the premises of Comme un diadème, a processing time of a few days may apply before the refund is issued.
Yes, your order is shipped in a neutral package without any brand or product mention. It will be handed to you personally by the delivery person after a phone call, never dropped in the mailbox or delivered to another person.

The models of Comme un diadème
A wig is a complete prosthesis that covers the entire head, like a cap. In contrast, a hair topper is a partial prosthesis that attaches to the top of the head using clips.
The hair of the hair topper blends with that of the person wearing it, whereas with a wig, the person's hair is usually tucked underneath (unless the hair is the same color, in which case it can be left loose under the wig).
A hair topper is perfectly suited for women with fine hair who wish to add density to their hair or for women with alopecia who have thinning scalps.
A wig will be suitable for total alopecia (bald individuals), but also for women who want to disregard their hair and change styles more easily. It is thus possible with a wig to wear longer or shorter hair than their natural hair. Or even to wear a color very different from their natural hair color.
The hair toppers and wigs from Comme un diadème are made from natural Brazilian, European, or Russian 'Remy' hair. The term 'Remy' means that the hair and cuticles of the strand are aligned in the same direction on the hair topper or wig.
In contrast to non-“Remy” hair, which is assembled in bulk on the prosthesis. They are therefore more prone to tangling and damage easily.

Models available in stock
The lengths offered on the site generally vary between 16 inches (41”) and 20 inches (51”). However, occasionally models of 15 inches (38”) or 26 inches (65”) may be available.
Custom orders
Do you want a specific length that is not listed on the site? A custom order is definitely possible. We can create a tailor-made model for you, with options ranging from 14/15 inches (36/38”) to 26 inches (65”).
For shorter models
If you prefer a model even shorter than 14 inches (36”), we recommend choosing an existing model on the site and then having it adjusted by a professional hairstylist or, ideally, by a hair prosthetist.
It is important to note that the length of hair can vary from person to person depending on their height and weight.
We offer hair toppers and wigs with a density of 130%. This density is considered standard among international brands and ensures good coverage and a completely natural look.
Hair density is an important quality criterion for a hair topper or wig. Comme un diadème is committed to offering models with sufficient density to ensure a lifespan of several years.
We advise our clients against purchasing low-density models because a hair topper or wig loses hair over time with daily wear, and a good initial density is crucial to guarantee the lifespan of your hair topper or wig.
The hair of hair toppers and wigs can be straight, wavy, or curly.
Straight models may appear wavy in photos because we curled them with a curling iron to achieve a more aesthetic look in the photos, as the waves reflect light better.
When 'Wavy' or 'Curly' is not specified in the product title or description, the model is straight. Wavy or curly models have this mention indicated in the product title as well as in the model description. The waves and curls last over time. Wavy or curly models retain the same texture after washing and over the years.
In most cases, the clips of hair toppers and wigs do not cause localized hair loss at the clip sites. However, every woman is different, and it can happen that when the tension is very strong and regular (for example, women who wear their model continuously without OFF days), some women may notice hair loss at the clip sites. In this case, it is possible to use the sensitive grip system offered on the site.

No, hair toppers or wigs do not suffocate the scalp and have no impact on hair loss.
Women with androgenetic alopecia naturally and chronically lose their hair, so it is normal for hair loss to evolve over time (unfortunately) and this is not related to the hair prosthesis.
People who wear wigs daily for religious reasons (for example, Jewish individuals) or veiled women do not lose their hair because of this.
The hair bulbs do not breathe outside air. All the elements they need are provided by the blood circulation 😉
How to choose your model?
It is important to choose the size of the hair topper base according to the extent of your alopecia. Indeed, it is preferable that the clips are not attached in the area of alopecia where the scalp can be quite sensitive. Additionally, extensive alopecia will require more coverage to compensate for the low initial density, especially at the back of the head.
A woman with early-stage alopecia, which is not yet really visible, can freely choose between an 8 x 8" base and a 8 x 8" base. The result with either of the two bases will be exactly the same.
In the case of more extensive alopecia, it is better to opt for a 8 x 8" base, which will provide the necessary coverage, especially at the back of the head, to completely mask your alopecia.
Regardless of the selected base size, the 8 x 8" and 8 x 8" bases are wide bases that allow for real coverage of your alopecia, a completely undetectable result, and real comfort of use while ensuring a natural result.
The density of the hair will not be stronger with a model 8 x 8" than with a base of 8 x 8".
As Comme un diadème no longer offers small bases like 15 x 15" on the site. Indeed, with a hair topper that has too small a base (15 x 15"), the hair of the topper can separate at the back and reveal the slight difference in color/texture, or even the alopecia of the person wearing it. If you still wish for this type of base, it is possible to place a custom order (not eligible for return).
For very extensive alopecia, a 23 x 23" base may be considered, or a wig.

Silk models present a perfect imitation of the scalp.
Lace models do not have this imitation of the scalp, but the fineness of the lace allows a very thinning or bald woman to bring the model very forward to her hairline while maintaining a very natural look.
We recommend that women with very sparse hair at the front edge opt for a lace model.
Women whose hair density is more preserved can freely choose between a lace model and a silk model.

The process
For any custom order, please contact us or use the contact form « Custom order » on the site.
After a detailed discussion, we will provide you with a quote. If the proposed model suits you, you will proceed with the payment to start the manufacturing of your piece. The manufacturing time is approximately 3 months after your order is validated. As soon as your model arrives at our premises, we will inform you of its shipment to your address.
Once your model is received, we are of course at your disposal for any questions or additional needs.
Return eligibility conditions
This order involves the custom manufacturing of your piece. Cela signifie qu’it will not be eligible for return, sauf en s’acquittant d’une 10% penalty of the order amount for restocking fees. Indeed, it has been specially designed for you and purchased with a budget not planned by Comme un Diadème for its usual stocks.
Please note, some models are not eligible for the penalty and therefore cannot be returned:
- Models with a length greater than 21 inches or less than 15 inches.
- Wigs with a cap size of XXS, XS, or XL.
- Sensitive wigs (medical wigs with silicone).
We invite you to make a request only if you are genuinely interested in the product and its terms, to avoid overwhelming our suppliers with unfulfilled requests. Thank you for your understanding.
The use of a hair supplement
The lifespan of a hair topper partly depends on how well it is cared for. The typical lifespan is between one and two years, but some customers have managed to keep them for up to four years without any issues ;). To increase the lifespan of your hair topper, it should not be washed too frequently. It is also important not to overuse heating devices (such as straighteners and curling irons).
Your model will not get damaged if you do not wear it, as long as you store it properly.
We recommend placing it in its pouch and storing it in a drawer or another safe place. If you leave your model poorly stored, crumpled for example, it may get creased and tangled. It is also important not to expose your model to sunlight, as this could damage it.
You can swim with a hair topper or a wig from Comme un diadème.
However, we advise against putting your head underwater as chlorine, salt, etc. are not good for maintaining the quality of the hair and the color of the models.
It is not advisable to sleep with a hair topper or a wig.
With the movements we make at night, the model may get tangled and the friction of the hair against the sheets could damage them.
A short nap?
You can take short naps with your model! It can happen to fall asleep with it, but it won't necessarily damage it faster.
It is entirely possible to exercise with a hair topper or a wig. Many customers of Comme un diadème regularly exercise with their model. For more intense sports (combat sports, jet-skiing, etc.), it is important to be aware that if there is significant pressure on the model, it may move and become detectable, so we recommend not wearing it for this type of sport.
Some women prefer to wear a headband with possibly a hair bun for more comfort when practicing a sport.
Natural hair can be heated, straightened, and curled without any problem. However, as with your own hair, it should not be overdone to avoid damaging the hair fiber.
The hair should not be washed too often (every 4 weeks is a good rhythm). Use a regular sulfate-free shampoo in conjunction with a conditioner and possibly a mask. It is important to avoid putting greasy products like shampoos, masks, etc. directly on the silk part and on the knots of the back bands as this can undo the knots.
Every 4 shampoos, you can apply Silicon Mix, so that the hair regains its initial shine. In case of dry ends, we recommend adding a bit of argan or coconut oil regularly to the ends to hydrate the hair fiber.
The hair of models in light brown to blonde Brazilian hair has generally undergone significant bleaching and coloring processes before reaching its final color. Therefore, this hair has been sensitized and may react unexpectedly to a standard coloring or bleaching process. It is generally possible to darken a hair topper or wig, but it is not recommended to bleach it as this could alter the quality of the hair. In any case, it is important to have the hair topper colored or bleached by a professional colorist experienced in working with this type of product.
Models made from dark brown Brazilian hair (Meghan, Eva, Katie, Leïla) and European hair can be modified at the hairdresser without any problem as their cuticle is intact.
Wearing a hair topper or wig does not cause itching in itself; it’s like wearing a cap.
However, you may occasionally experience itching, which is not necessarily due to the hair topper or wig. If this happens, you can discreetly scratch through your hairpiece. It is entirely possible to scratch your head, even with a hair prosthesis, without any particular discomfort.
In general, wearing a hair topper or wig does not make you particularly hot.
In winter, it can still be practical for women affected by alopecia, as it helps keep your head a bit warmer.
However, during summer, in regions where temperatures are high, you may feel hot. Indeed, wearing a hairpiece during this time can lead to a feeling of warmth, as you are adding volume of hair and a prosthesis on your head.
Solutions?
If you get too hot in the summer with your hair topper or wig, you can simply choose not to wear it and opt for a hairbun to have a beautiful dense bun. Otherwise, you can always wear it by tying your hair up to better manage the heat.
