Wearing a hair topper or a wig for the first time during a fitting is not always straightforward. It can be challenging to position the product correctly and achieve a natural look. For this, do not hesitate to contact me upon receiving the product and send me your photos; I will be happy to help you get accustomed to the model (via email, private messages on Instagram or Facebook, or WhatsApp +33 6 95 28 78 85). It is also important to be aware that the cut plays a significant role in the final appearance. Indeed, it is more difficult to achieve a completely natural look when the hair topper or wig has never been cut.
When you order a hair topper or a wig from Comme un diadème, you have the option to request a cut. Many of you ask me what these different cuts correspond to. You will find all the information on this topic in this article 😉
The Diadem cut for your hair topper or wig
Hair toppers and wigs are sold uncut, meaning they have never been trimmed. The lengths, especially at the back, are therefore not evened out. Additionally, at the front of the face, the lack of layering can lead to a result that resembles the 'Kad Merad effect' (=Kad Merad imitating Hélène Ségara, for those who don't get the reference).

Placing the part on the side to break the symmetry already helps significantly to limit this effect.
But layering the lengths around the face is important to achieve a natural look. Because no one naturally has this type of cut. This is where the Diadem cut comes in!
The Diadem cut is an even out of the lengths at the back (just 2 to 3 inches cut) and a very slight layering around the face. The hair topper or wig is then ready to wear as soon as you open the package 😉
You will find all the explanations and the result of the Diadem cut in this video:
Curtain bangs
I am particularly fond of curtain bangs. I am therefore happy to offer both short and long curtain bangs as a cutting option. The bangs make the hair topper and wig completely undetectable. I recommend it to anyone who is not very comfortable with positioning the product, as it allows for a more secure feeling and makes positioning much easier.
Classic bangs
Classic bangs are less flared than curtain bangs.
You now know everything. You just have to choose what would suit you best for your hair topper or wig. I know that it is not always easy to embark on this alone. So if you would like personalized advice, do not hesitate to contact me, and I will be happy to assist you! Many women buy their very first hair topper or wig from Comme un diadème, and it goes very well 😉

Bonsoir
Following my purchase of the hair topper 'ANA', I feel that the wig would be more suitable for me... because my hair topper makes me feel uncomfortable or sometimes pulls on my hair, and... well... I'm not at ease...
What do you recommend for a wig? Style hair topper "ANA" and do I need a net as well...
Because my hair loss is worsening and I can no longer color it despite my hair becoming more and more white... nor straighten it...
I trust you because of the great quality and simple advice... thank you for the feedback
For note 'I would like a blonde without necessarily a streaked effect or with...'
