Many of you would like to avoid as much as possible the traction associated with clips and the central comb of toppers capillaries and wigs. Indeed, the scalp of a woman suffering from alopecia can sometimes be quite sensitive.
The central comb of toppers capillaries and wigs from Comme un diadème is the most gentle and respectful thing available when you want to wear a prosthesis hair.
However, it must be admitted that positioning a comb or clips in an already sparse area is not always the most pleasant part of daily life!
But fortunately, the Sensitive grip solution exists!
What is a Sensitive grip on a topper?
A Sensitive grip is a special band developed by Comme un diadème to fit perfectly with your topper or Comme un diadème wig. You can attach it/them to topper using the double-sided adhesive strips or clips supplied in the kit. You can also sew the Sensitive grip directly to your topper.
The Sensitive grip has a very good grip on the hair, with the advantage of not pulling or hurting when you remove the topper or wig to which it is attached. So it doesn't exert any pulling force on your hair during the day. This makes the hair prosthesis more comfortable to wear over the long term.
If you'd like to understand the benefits of the Sensitive grip and find out in detail how to attach it, take a look at this instructional video:
Note: The Sensitive grip will not be sold outside the European Union, unless ordered at the same time as a topper hair or a wig.
You can also sew your own sensitive grips as shown opposite (photo sent in by a delighted customer ;)).
