    Hi, I am 29 years old from Munich Germany and I bought this beautiful hair topper « Katie » in Nov. 2023 as my very first ever hair piece. I could not be happier. Laure was an immense help throughout the whole process and assisted me to kindly. Here are some of my highlights:
    1. The shipping process worked great from France to Germany, it arrived so fast within 2-3 days.
    2. The color of the topper is mesmerizing. A beautiful dark brown, with very subtle and natural looking fine highlights, that give the hair dimension.
    3. The quality of the hair is outstanding. It feels so soft, strong and healthy. Going through it with your hands is pure joy and honestly: better than my own hair ever was.
    4. One thing I did struggle with in the beginning was blending it, because my Alopecia is very bad in the front, I have too little hairline left to brush my own hair over the topper, so it looked a bit awkward at first. But with the amazing support from Laure via whatsapp, showing me on herself with videos and making different suggestions, I was able to finally make it work well for me.
    5. Lastly, and for me the best point: Laure and comme un diadème is a brand worth supporting with your purchase. If the topper can be compared to a tiara (diadème), then the kindness you will feel throughout the sales process is what lets your tiara sparkle and radiate. What is a hair topper?

A hair topper is a partial hair prosthesis that attaches to the top of the head with clips. It adds volume and density to your hair. The hair topper blends with your hair for a natural and completely undetectable result. It is easy to position and practical for everyday use.

Additionally, you have the option to send photos of your hair (or your alopecia) through the support form to receive advice on color, base size, or length of the hair topper/wig.

Comme un diadème does not have a store or commercial premises; it is solely an e-commerce site. However, you are not alone in your purchase and can receive advice on color, base size, and length based on your photos by sending them through the support form. After ordering the hair topper, you can try it at home and return it if it does not suit you, respecting the 14-day withdrawal period.

Social Security does not reimburse natural hair wigs whose price exceeds 700 euros.

Payment in 4 installments with no fees is possible via PayPal.

All out-of-stock models are regularly restocked. However, it is not possible to provide a precise restock timeframe for each model. If you are interested in a model, we recommend subscribing to restock alerts to receive an email as soon as the product is available again on the site.

Orders are delivered within less than 10 days in metropolitan France, Belgium, and Switzerland. For international orders, delivery times may be slightly longer.

You must exercise your right of withdrawal via the withdrawal form. After returning the product, you will be refunded within 10 days after receipt at the Comme un diadème premises.

We use Brazilian natural 'Remy' hair. The term 'Remy' means that the hair and the cuticles of the strand are aligned in the same direction on the hair topper. Unlike non-'Remy' hair, which is assembled in bulk. They tend to tangle and damage more easily.

You should choose the base size of the hair topper based on the extent of your alopecia and the hair density you wish to achieve. Indeed, it is preferable that the clips are not attached in the alopecia area where the scalp can be quite sensitive. Additionally, extensive alopecia will require a significant hair density to compensate for the low initial density.

We recommend base sizes of 8 x 8" or 8 x 8" for extensive alopecia. These bases will provide real coverage, density, and comfort of use. Larger base sizes are available for very significant alopecia.

Smaller bases (6 x 6") will provide slightly less density to the hair. However, they will allow for easier high ponytails.

We offer hair toppers with a density between 120 and 130%. This density is considered standard among international brands.

The hair is straight. Unless it is indicated in the title of the product sheet and in the description that the model is naturally wavy or curly.

The lifespan of a hair topper will partly depend on how well it is cared for. The typical lifespan is between one and two years. To extend the lifespan of your hair topper, it should not be washed too frequently.

The hair topper should be brushed carefully after being worn. It is practical to place it on a wig stand. This way, the hair does not get a bad crease before the next use.

Hair should not be washed too frequently. Maintenance every 4 weeks or more is a good rhythm. You should close the clips before washing the hair and detangle the hair before and after washing. You can use a gentle shampoo for colored hair followed by a conditioner. The “Orchid oil” shampoo and “Brazilian keratin” conditioner have proven effective!

Every 4 shampoos, you can apply Silicon Mix, available on Amazon. Your hair will regain its original shine.

In case of dry ends, we recommend adding a bit of argan oil to hydrate the hair fiber.

Natural hair can be heated, straightened, and curled without any problem. However, as with your own hair, it should not be overdone to avoid damaging the hair fiber.

The hair of the hair toppers has generally undergone complex bleaching and coloring processes before reaching its final color. These hairs have therefore been sensitized. They may react unexpectedly to a coloring or bleaching process. It is generally possible to darken a hair topper. However, it is not recommended to bleach it as this could alter the hair. Thus, in case of doubt between two shades for the hair color to choose, it is better to select the lighter hair shade. In any case, it is important to have the hair topper colored or bleached by a professional colorist who is accustomed to working with this type of hair. The hair toppers Comme un diadème are sold uncut. At first try, the hair topper may seem ill-suited to your face and/or hairstyle. However, a raw piece requires you to make it your own so that it completely suits you. We therefore recommend that if the color, length, and base size suit you, to have the hair topper cut by a hairstylist so that it can blend naturally with your own hair.

Are you interested in a model that is not available in the Comme un diadème catalog?

At Comme un diadème, custom orders for out-of-stock products are possible.

It is important to note that custom orders are not eligible for return as they are made at the specific request of the customer. Additionally, lead times for this type of order can be long (approximately 3 months).

Comme un diadème asks you to only make this quote request if you are genuinely interested in the product and the terms of a custom order in order to avoid overloading suppliers with requests that would not materialize. We thank you for your understanding.

After your custom order request, a quote will be sent to you within 10 days. This quote will be valid for 3 weeks after receipt, as supplier prices tend to fluctuate over time. Upon your agreement, a product sheet will be created specifically for you. Following your payment, the product will be directly ordered from the suppliers.
